4.     Students are required to identify the conceptual framework that forms the basis of the study.

4.    Number of words (2000). Approx 10-11 pages (not including references)

5.    The deadline for submitting assignments on WEEK 16

ASSIGNMENT 2:

QUALITATIVE RESEARCH PROPOSAL WRITING

PERCENTAGE OF MARKS: 30%

GUIDELINES:

1.    Write in UKM Style format

2.    Student required to prepare a brief research proposal based on the topic studied

3.    The proposal should have following topics:

i.       Research Background

ii.       Problem Statement

iii.       Research Objectives

iv.       Research Questions

v.       Research Design

vi.       Data Collection Methods

vii.       Data Analysis Methods

FORMAT:

1.    Write in UKM Style format

2.    Font: Times New Roman font size 12

5.    The deadline for submitting assignments depends on the lecturers of each set.

ASSIGNMENT 3:

FIELD WORK/CASE STUDY

PERCENTAGE OF MARKS: 40%

GUIDELINES:

1.    This is an individual assignment.

2.    Students are required to conduct a preliminary study based on the chosen topic (as in assignment 1 & 2)

3.    Students’ have to develop interview protocol

4.    Conduct interviews (select 3 research participants)

5.    Students’ need to transcribe interview (please attach as an appendix)

6.    Students’ need to analysis (thematic analysis)

7.    Students’ have to report the findings thematically and create a model

1.    Each presentation in between 15-20 minutes
